Resilience Ready
Planning and infrastructure for storage, solar, generator integration and EV capacity the owner may add later.
Resilience systems
Battery storage, solar, generator integration and intelligent load management, designed as one coordinated system around what the home actually needs to keep running.
01 · The resilience stack
Each layer does a job the others cannot. Intelligent controls decide how they work together in normal operation and during an outage.
02 · Battery
Battery storage responds the instant utility power is lost, keeping selected systems running with no generator noise and no delay. A properly designed system can carry substantial household load — how much, and for how long, comes out of the property's own load profile, priority circuits, storage capacity and target outage duration.
03 · Generator
For homes that need long-duration protection, HRS integrates a standby generator with the battery system. The generator carries the resilience plan through a prolonged outage and can restore battery reserve when solar production is limited.
Rather than sizing a generator around every possible load on the property, we design the generator, the battery and the load controls together, around outage priorities the owner has agreed.
Generator integration is designed around manufacturer-listed equipment capabilities, generator input limits, fuel availability, site conditions and the property's approved outage load plan.
04 · Resilience zones
A large home may have 400 A of service or more. Backing up all of it is rarely the goal — and rarely the best use of the budget. HRS organises selected loads into one or more dedicated resilience zones, while high-demand discretionary loads stay outside the outage plan or are managed automatically.
